Super Mario Happy Meal Toys Heading To The U.S.

Earlier in 2017, a line of Super Mario Happy Meal toys arrived in Japanese and European McDonald’s restaurants. There was no mention of a North American release at the time, but they’re finally headed to the United States. Between April 26 and May 22, 2017, the Super Mario toys will appear in Happy Meals.

There are eight toys in the Super Mario Happy Meal line. These include Mario, Invincible Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, a Koopa shell, and a 1-Up Mushroom. The 1-Up Mushroom and Invincible Mario toys were not part of the European run, as a Piranha Plant and Question Block with Invincibility Star were among the eight toys there instead.

McDonald’s is also holding a contest to win a Nintendo Switch prize pack. People who use the McD App to scan and purchase any offer before May 22, 2017 will be entered a system and copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. 100 prize packs will be given away, with details listed at the official website.
