Super Sentai Game Has A Bit Of Shadow Of The Colossus

Namco Bandai is celebrating 35 years of Super Sentai with a crossover game for Wii. The mashup of characters may be a selling point in Japan, but I think the gigantic monster boss fights are more interesting.

Past all of the brawling and team attacks at the two minute mark are giant boss battle scenes. While you can call robots of equal size, it’s also possible to fight as a tiny ranger and chip away at the boss’ ankle. You and a group of rangers can even jump on an enemy and attack them Shadow of the Colossus style.

I wonder if… you can actually take down a boss that way. Super Sentai Battle Ranger Cross comes out for Wii on September 8.
