Super Smash Bros. For Wii U Comes Out In Japan After North America

imageNintendo will release Super Smash Bros. for Wii U in Japan on December 6, two weeks after the fighting game launches in the West. A bundle with a GameCube controller adapter will retail for 9,200 yen, but this is just for Super Smash Bros. and the adapter. In North America, you get the game, the adapter and a GameCube controller for $99.99.

 

On the flip side, GameCube controllers with the Smash logo are cheaper in Japan – 2,000 yen for a controller compared to $29.99. Nintendo of Japan will distribute a black controller and a white one. The amiibo lineup is the same in both regions. In Japan, one amiibo figure will cost 1,300 yen.
