Bandai Namco has officially announced the release date for Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris in Japan, and it will be May 21, 2020, one day earlier than the leaked Western release date of May 22.
Additionally, a first-print limited edition has been announced for Japan, and includes a limited edition box, a special case to store CDs and Blu-Rays, a ‘Special Content’ Blu-Ray disc, an OST CD, an original drama CD, the script for the drama CD, and a limited edition packaging. It also has a special Dengeki NerveGear special booklet.

Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 21, 2020 in Japan, and May 22, 2020 in the West.
