Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Complete Edition‘s latest February update is now live, bringing new story content with the ‘Mask of the Abyss’ story update, as well as random dungeons that start you off at Level 1. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Story
A new dungeon has been added, and the protagonist heads out to clear it. As they progress through the dungeon, they meet a solo player named ‘Hydra’.
Accessories
Just as was revealed on livestream last month, this update adds in new accessories, including costumes for Alice and Eugeo, as well as Ronye Arabel and Tiese Shtolienen. There is also a Chudelkin outfit.
Weapons
There are new “Royal Guard Gold” and “GE-6 Disaster Gold” weapons, as well as photon blades based off the Night Sky Sword and the Blue Rose Sword.
Random Dungeons
New Random Dungeons where you begin at Level 1 are now added to the game. Acquire equipment as you progress along the floors, and try to reach Floor 50, the lowest floor!

- 6 new outfits added to medal exchange store
- 3 new accessories added to medal exchange store
- 1 new eyebrow type in Avatar customization
- 2 new hairstyles in Avatar customization
- 2 new face types in Avatar customization
- 5 new types of items added to list of items ArFA-Sys can buy after beating the game
- New rewards added for accumulated money
- 4 new rank 11 weapons (obtained via Abyss dungeons)
- 4 new movies added to gallery
Finally, a demo for the game on Nintendo Switch releases on February 4, 2020.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game was recently added to Xbox Game Pass. A demo for the Switch version releases February 4, 2020.
