Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet Details What’s New In Recent Free Update

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet just got a free update recently in Japan and it adds new playable characters in Fukaziroh, M, LLENN, and Pitohui as well as a bunch of new additions, adjustments, and fixes.

Here are details from the game’s official website on what’s new from the free update:

• Fukaziroh, M, LLENN, and Pitohui added.

• Hero Battle mode implemented. This mode is a 4v4 online battle mode where you get to take control of a Sword Art Online hero.

• In Hero Battle mode, the levels are all synced and each character has a weapon and set of skills that suit their characteristics.

Here are some new additions:

• Sub-scenarios added for the new characters.
• New costumes and accessories added to the shop (Three Piece Suit M/F)
• New costumes added to Asuna’s Costume Create (Vest & Dress Pants M/F)
• New avatar customization face parts (LLENN, Pitohui, Fukaziroh)
• Emails will be sent out when for Prize Ranks 10~1.
• Kirito’s costume can be changed.

Here are some adjustments:

• Level cap increased from 125 to 150.
• Adjustments to buff status glow effects.
• ArFA-Sys (AI partner) has ways to gain experience points even w hen they’re not in party.
• “Cover Vision” height has been adjusted.
• ArFA-Sys emotion interval changed from 15 seconds to 30 seconds.
• Improvement on ArFA-Sys and other character motions.
• Improved fast-travel UI.
• Added fast-travel points: Home (Gallery), Squadron (PvE) “Named Enemy Quest,” Squadron (PvP) “Bounty Quest,” Squadron (Treasure) “Treasure Quest.”
• Sort function improvement (Can now sort weapons by “Rarity,” “Weapon Rank,” “Attack,” “Weapon Rank Order,” “Shooting Type” and more.
• Weapon information screen UI adjusted (layout adjusted so requested status is displayed on page 1.)
• Adjusted default cursor position to “No!” for ArFA-Sys hairstyle and costume changes.
• Ways to increase friendship levels adjusted.

And lastly, here are some fixes:

• Fixed an issue where an NPC wouldn’t go inside a boss room.
• Fixed an issue of a gun sound that would keep on going.
• Others, including movement stability improvement.

Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Japan. The game releases today in the West for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
