Bandai Namco announced that Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet’s first paid DLC, “Ambush of the Imposters”, will be released on April 26, 2018 in Japan. A Ver. 1.2.0 update will also be released one day earlier, on April 25, 2018. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Ver. 1.2.0 update:
The free update will bring a new 4v4 “Death Match” feature to the Online mode, increase the level cap to Lv. 175, and unlocks Rank 8 weapons.
Ambush of the Imposters:
Story –
Following rumors about enemy ArFA-sys units, the protagonist and their companions start investigating the rumors with the cooperation of Yamikaze, Dyne, and Musketeer X… Another story starts.
* Players must have finished The Forgotten Woods in order to start the DLC story.
New playable characters:
- Dyne (CV: Go Shinomiya)
- Yamikaze (CV: Satoshi Tsuruoka)
- Musketeer X (CV: Hibiku Yamamura)
New bosses:
- Elemental Wizard
Bullet of Bullets:
A new offline mode where the protagonist first fights Kirito and his friends 1-on-1 for three rounds, which then progresses to an 8-person free-for-all battle royale. Try to become the champion!
The new characters, Yamikaze, Dyne, and Musketeer X will also appear in this mode.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will get the paid DLC on April 26, 2018, while the Steam version will get it on April 27, 2018.
