An actual announcement for a new Super Monkey Ball game has appeared, following trademarks for a game known as Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball in Japan and Taiwan. It is an updated version of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. It will arrive on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on October 31, 2019. A PC version will appear as well, though its release date is currently “undecided.” (Thanks, Famitsu!)

The official reveal of Tabegoro! Super Monkey Ball will appear in the August 1, 2019 issue of Weekly Famitsu, which people will be able to pick up on July 18, 2019 in Japan. Supposedly, the game will include new features not present in the original release. For the moment, only four screenshots showing AiAi and Baby in action have appeared.
