“The entire amount of text in the Super Famicom version is about 300,000 characters, this work has over 700,000 characters,” game designer Yasumi Matsuno tweeted. Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together even has more text than Final Fantasy XII, which clocks in at around 600,000 characters.

In an earlier tweet, Matsuno said he was in charge of rewriting the story and he added new character episodes to Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together.
