Taiko no Tatsujin Series hits 10 Million Units In Worldwide Sales; Drum ‘n’ Fun Gets A New Mode

Bandai Namco announced that the Taiko no Tatsujin series has hit a new milestone of 10 million units in worldwide software sales. A new competitive mode “Donkatsu Fight” was also added for the Switch version, Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun.

 

The above is a new trailer for the new competitive mode, Donkatsu Fight, where hit the notes to attack the opponent when the hits reach 100%. There are all kinds of items you can use to hinder opponents, like items that obstruct their view or speed up their notes. There are also power-up items that doubles your hit power and such.

 

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun is available for the Nintendo Switch and Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum Session! is available for PlayStation 4 as the series’ latest entries.
