Once again, Taito announced the Desktop Cute figure of Vocaloid Hatsune Miku as a cat girl will appear in Japan. As usual, two variants will be available as arcade prizes, with one only in Taito online crane games. These will show up in the middle of June 2026. The previous run appeared on Amazon, so we’ll see it worldwide again too. This might also cause the price of the existing figure to go down on various storefronts, as the new Crunchyroll pre-order listing has it for $22.49.
Since this is a returning Desktop Cute figure, we know exactly what to expect. The standard version has Miku in an oversized white shirt with black tank top underneath. She also wears a pink cat color and has a bell on her tail. The outfit is completed with black shorts, white and pink socks, and pink and black hair bows in her pigtails. The pose has her sitting and yawning. The Taito online crane game exclusive version swaps the colors slightly, making the shirt grey, collar magenta, and socks black and green. Both of these sitting figures are about five inches tall (130mm).

This announcement means we’ve seen this particular cat girl version of Hatsune Miku three times in a row. It first showed up in August 2024. Then the rerun came back in May 2025.
The Hatsune Miku Desktop Cute cat girl figure and Taito online crane game variant will both be back in mid-June 2026 in Japan, and a worldwide release will follow.
