In Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, up to four players go around a game board and take part in various seasonal events and minigames in the hopes of making their character the happiest. Happy Points can be earned and saved to the Animal Crossing amiibo, which will in turn unlock unspecified game elements. The Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer amiibo cards are also compatible with the game and will be used in the minigames.

Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival will be $59.99 at launch. The game will come bundled with the Isabelle and Digby amiibo. The November 13 North American launch window means it will launch ahead of other regions, with the game arriving on November 20 in Europe and November 21 in Japan.
