Love it or hate, an integral part of the Playstation 2’s success was Grand Theft Auto III. While Take Two, Rockstar’s publisher, is taking away exclusivity of the series from the Playstation they are strongly backing the Playstation 3 with 20 titles. The 20 title line up contains eleven titles from the 2K Sports division. While these aren’t exactly exclusives Take Two has been taking advantage of the SIXAXIS tilt sensitivity to make new control schemes. Here’s the kicker seven of the games are developed by Rockstar. Rockstar already announced that they working on Grand Theft Auto IV and L.A. Noire. So that leaves five more games from Rockstar for the Playstation 3. Take Two gave a hint of what is in the works by saying some game are “extensions of blockbuster Rockstar Games franchises”. So what sequels can we expect? Max Payne and Midnight Club are nearly guaranteed. Sequels to Bully and the Warriors are likely. There is also a slim chance that Rockstar will continue Red Dead Revolver with another game too. Are there any other Rockstar titles you want to see on the PS3?
