A new trailer also surfaced alongside the announcement. More story focused, we see the two main characters fight their way through various environments. Additionally, two party members were revealed. The dark haired girl in the trailer, Linwell, will join the party alongside her owl companion. Rowe, the young man with the shoulder armor, is another party member. Viewers are also given a brief look at a massive enemy wielding an axe of some sort.

New about Tales of Arise had been relatively scarce after its release. Updates had been few and far between, though the developers had stated in December 2020 that the game had entered its final stage of development. However, Bandai Namco stated that new information regarding the upcoming title would arrive sometime in Spring 2021. A trailer featuring English audio was released during the Tales of Festival. It’s also been confirmed that ufotable, the studio which worked on animated segments for past Tales of installments like Berseria, Xillia, and Zestiria and worked on anime adaptations for Symphonia and Zestiria will handle its animated segments.

Tales of Arise will release on September 9, 2021 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC in Japan. The Western release will arrive on September 10, 2021.
