It took a little while, but the Bandai Namco Gashapon line of miniature package charm keychains based on Tales of PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5 games to celebrate the JRPG series’ 30th anniversary are now rolling out to capsule machines in the US and Canada. The Japanese Gashapon Online pre-order happened back in December 2026, followed by a full release in May 2026. They should be in North American machines throughout September 2026 while supplies last. A price wasn’t mentioned, but each pull is random.
Just like the Japanese release, this involves miniature replicas of game cases for the JRPG series. Each one involves a copy attached to a ball-chain keychain. The case can be opened to show a replica of the disc and manual inside, and the disc is able to be removed. Each one is between three and four centimeters long.

This isn’t the only time we saw these sorts of replicas. Bandai Namco also did so with Sony PS1 and PS2 games, then Sony PS3 and PS4 titles. We haven’t seen those worldwide yet.
