Bandai Namco confirmed the reveal date for the new Tales of Remastered game, and we will see the remaster title revealed alongside gamescom 2025 announcements on August 19, 2025. A video will air at 7am PT/10am ET on YouTube. The placeholder is live, but we don’t know exactly how long this showcase will last.

We already saw a possible hint as to the identity of the Tales of Remasteredgame announcement ahead of the showcase. As pointed out by Loewdeltaa on Twitter and Abyssal Chronicles, Bandai Namco Europe accidentally uploaded a YouTube video on August 14, 2025. It was set to air on August 18, 2025, and the thumbnail teaser image showed a Tales of Xillia skit with Millia, Alvin, Rowen, Eliza, Teepo, and Leia.
We saw another Tales of remaster earlier in 2025, as Bandai Namco shared Tales of Graces f Remastered. That showed up on the Wii first, with the PS3 “f” entry showing up a year later. The remaster debuted on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC back in January 2025.
The Bandai Namco Tales of Remastered showcase that might end up revealing a remaster of Tales of Xillia, if the leak is accurate, will air at 7am PT/10am ET on August 19, 2025.
