Fulton, which already announced a timepiece based on the pocket watch from Tales of Xillia 2, announced a Tales of the Abyss watch to commemorate its 20th anniversary. The limited edition watch will cost 29,700 JPY ($190.60).
Like the Tales of Xillia 2 pocket watch, the Tales of Xillia watch will have a limited run. Only 2005 watches will be produced and sold, with the serial number appearing on the back. The number is a reference to the year that Tales of the Abyss originally came out.
The watch’s design references Luke and Asch. Their swords form the hands of the watch, and there is a balance of designs on the face. At the bottom is the logo, and at the top are the words “Here I Am” along with the dates 2005 – 2025. The right side has a design bearing Asch’s motif that shows the date. The left has a design like the mark on Luke’s outfit, and it shows the day. According to the website, this design naturally gives you the feeling that they’re equal, without one being favored over the other.
The watch will also come with an acrylic watch stand that’s based on the moon and night sky in the ending anime cutscene. There’s a slot for an acrylic stand, as well as an acrylic Rappig. You can only put Luke or Asch in the stand, and there’s no room for both.
Pre-orders for the Tales of the Abyss watch will start from December 16, 2025. The watch will come out in mid-June 2026.
