The Japanese Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition website has been updated to offer information on the game’s resolution and frame rate options on both consoles and computers. For consoles, it seems like it generally shoots for a 1080p resolution, though there are exceptions, and 60 FPS in certain situations. Meanwhile, the PC version goes for 4K and a variable frame rate.

Here is the information on all Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition frame rates and resolutions, organized by console.

  • Nintendo Switch: If your Nintendo Switch is docked, it will display at 1080p, but undocked makes it drop to 720p. It hits 60 FPS in battles and 30 FPS in all other situations.
  • PlayStation 4: The PlayStation 4 version always runs at 60 FPS in 1080p.
  • Xbox One: The Xbox One version always has a 1080p resolution. However, it runs at 60 FPS in players are in battles and 30 FPS when they’re not.
