When Bandai Namco first announced Tales of Zestiria, they said that the story will revolve around the subject of dragons, which is even on the logo for the game, but we’ve yet to see any, until now. The latest footage for the game shows a glimpse of dragon-fighting action.
During the livestream, series producer Hideo Baba said that while they haven’t shown much about dragons yet, they will still play a big role in the game’s story. The footage they showed featuring Sorey and his buddies fighting what appears to be a large wyvern is just an example of what a dragon fight will be like in Tales of Zestiria. Baba also mentioned that dragons will come in various sizes, too, so we’ll likely see much larger ones later on. Tales of Zestiria is slated for release in Japan on January 22, 2015 for PlayStation 3.
