Here’s the first trailer. In it, we see the Warriors of Light going after Chaos and finding Garland. The description for the official trailer noted that the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin PS5 demo will be available until June 24, 2021.

As a reminder, Garland was the villain in the original Final Fantasy. However, he once started out as a hero. This is referenced in the voice over for this new game’s trailer. It was only later that the former knight became a villain and took on the power of Chaos to bolster his already immense skills and strength.

Strangers of Light: Final Fantasy Origin will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2022, with a PS5 demo confirmed. Square Enix’s reveal included a link to an official website, but it isn’t live as of 4pm ET on June 13, 2021.
