Tecmo Koei And Idea Factory Partner For Angelique: Six Knights Of Love

Recommended Videos

The next entry in Koei’s Angelique series is going to be a collaborative effort. Idea Factory will be stepping in to help out with Angelique Maren no Roku Kishi, but you can call it Angelique: Six Knights of Love. It’s a PSP visual novel due in 2011 that’s loosely based the book Angelique Tenkuu no Chinkonka ~Kuroki Tsubasa no Moto ni~ and a spin-off of Angelique Tenku no Requiem.

The star of Angelique: Six Knights of Love is an original character, named Teresa. She’s always lived in the village Sage’s house under his care after her parents died, with her adopted brother Renaud. She also ended up a victim of a suspicious kidnapping when she was 17. She came home safely after a day, but it left her feeling off. After her abduction, Renaud is taken and doesn’t return. So she goes after him. She then discovers him at a strange fort, where he’s working with a strange captain named Leviath and his six knights, Cain, Eugene, Gerhard, Giovanni, Kiefer and Shona.

Teresa isn’t about to leave Renaud there, of course, so she joins up with the force as well. She reasons that the sooner the knights accomplish their goal, the sooner Renaud will be willing to leave. However, her abduction is tied into their mission. Plus, since this is an otome visual novel, there’s a really, incredibly good chance she’ll fall in love with one of these guys.

There aren’t too many details available yet, aside from a general story and some other initial information. Idea Factory and Koei do have a Angelique: Six Knights of Love website up though, for anyone who wants to check out the initial character art and concept. As always, the PSP is region free so anyone can enjoy it, but this will most likely be text heavy like all other Idea Factory visual novels.
