People with Tekken 7 may have noticed a problem with the game’s online functionality. Bandai Namco has issued an update acknowledging an issue with matchmaking. It also noted that an online update is going to be released that will “modify the game spec.” Said update will also help make matchmaking more efficient and alter searches so the game does not display characters when searching for a Ranked Match.

The Tekken 7 online issues have primarily been with the Ranked matches. However, some people are also reporting issues with the Player matches if they are not playing with friends in a lobby specifically for that purpose. There are reports the Tournament mode is working, but that some people have been unable to act as spectators during a tournament. It also appears PlayStation 4 owners are facing the bulk of the problems.

Tekken 7 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
