Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Sells 840,000 Units, Snoop Lion Probably Pleased

Somewhere out there Snoop Lion is celebrating with a panda vs. dinosaur fight because Tekken Tag Tournament 2 sold 840,000 units since the game launched on September 11 to September 30 when Namco Bandai’s second fiscal quarter ended. Not too shabby especially since the game will reappear as a Wii U launch title this month.

 

Taiko Drum Master: The Little Dragon and the Mysterious Orb was another key title for Namco Bandai with 270,000 copies of the Nintendo 3DS music game sold. SD Gundam G Generation Over World for PSP sold 260,000 units.

 

Soulcalibur V and Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm generations are both over the magic million mark. Namco Bandai moved 680,000 units worldwide in the first half of of fiscal year 2013, which brings Soulcalibur V to 1,380,000. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations sold 550,000 units between April and the end of September for a total of 1,010,000 units.
