As part of the first anniversary celebration and season four announcement, A Plus Japan announced Blue Protocol: Star Resonance will get a crossover with the anime series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura). This could mean we’ll see cosmetics or other in-game elements based on characters like Rimuru Tempest and Shizue Izawa and their adventures.

At the moment, details about the Tensura anime, light novel, and manga and Blue Protocol: Star Resonance crossover are extremely slim. We only got an image with the two game logos alongside each other. We do know now, however, that this is the third of the three teased events announced back in March 2026. The first was a crossover with Shangri-La Frontier in April 2026, and the season three update of the game included a Fairy Tail collaboration.

As for the other Lightchase Oath season four and first anniversary updates in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, a calendar appeared showing what to expect. There’s a new Montegnor Valley area to explore, and new story chapters appeared. Phantom Factor Cap went up, and there will be new challenges. The Dawn to Dusk Wishes, Seabreeze Festival Celebration, Starlight Fireworks, and Fireworks Trivia I are all happening now. The Season 4 Pass I Fantasy Mage pass is also around, as are the Magical Love limited outfit and Tonight, Depart by Stars limited mount. A Master’s Trial event will take place starting on November 2, 2026.

Here’s the full preview for season four of the game.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is available on the PC and Android and iOS devices, season four is available in-game now, and the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura) crossover is in the works. The Tensura light novel is handled by Yen Press, the localizations of the main manga and spin-offs are handled by both Kodansha and Yen Press, and the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.
