Taito announced that one of its latest types of merchandise in Japanese arcades will be Hatsune Miku tote bags with art by Terada Teru on them. It shared photos of the styles on social media. The artist also announced the collaboration on social media and shared the concept art for the character on Tumblr.
There’s no exact release window for the Terada Teru Hatsune Miku tote bags yet. We just know they’ll launch in Japan in August 2025. Each one will be about 13 inches tall (35cm).
Two designs were shown in Taito’s initial images. One is a black bag with turquoise straps. Terada’s design is on the front, with Hatsune Miku’s name in magenta below it. The reverse side shows the back of Miku’s head. The second bag is turquoise with a print of full body images of Hatsune Miku all over it, alongside leaks, “Miku” in black, and “01” in magenta. The straps for that one are pink.
Here’s how the example photos look:

This artist also worked on art and animations for Vocaloid music videos. “Hello Dystopia” is one example.
Taito will offer these Hatsune Miku tote bags in Japan in August 2025, and there’s no word yet whether or not we’ll eventually see them worldwide.
