The Terraria Nintendo Switch version finally has a release date. However, it only applies to the digital copy. On June 27, 2019, it will make its eShop debut. The official forum announcement noted that Terraria physical copies need “a bit more time,” and as such, do not have a release window yet.

The Nintendo Switch version of Terraria will have touch screen controls when someone is playing the game while undocked. Players will be able to use these controls to check the map, zoom in, select items, enter Build mode, and manage inventory.

Terraria first appeared on PCs in 2011. Since then, it has shown up on the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and mobile devices. It will make its digital Nintendo Switch debut on July 27, 2019.
