Tetris 99 Physical Copies Will Be Released In Europe And Japan


    D_BMjcHWsAAc6ij Nintendo has revealed Tetris 99 physical copies will make their way to two regions. Europe and Japan will both be getting retail releases of the game. The official Japanese Nintendo website says it will show up in Japan first on August 9, 2019. A Nintendo UK tweet confirmed that on September 20, 2019, it will show up in Europe.


    The physical copies of Tetris 99 will come with the game on a cartridge. This will include the free version of the game available to all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, as well as the Big Block DLC that adds CPU Battle against 98 bots, a solo Marathon Mode, and eventually the two-player 2P Share Battle and eight-player Local Arena. A 12-month subscription to Nintendo Switch online is also included.


    Tetris 99 debuted in February 2019. The digital version is free for all Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. The physical copy will show up in Japan on August 9, 2019 and Europe on September 20, 2019. A North American physical release hasn’t been confirmed yet.
