The online multiplayer game Tetris 99 is available as a free title for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, but the game just got the “Big Block DLC” that adds offline modes for $9.99.
The first mode is CPU Battle, which is basically Tetris 99 but an offline version that lets you play against 98 CPU players instead of other players.
Marathon is all about challenging yourself to go for the most line and getting a high score. Nintendo will also add an additional offline multiplayer mode that will arrive later as part of the Big Block DLC, so those who purchase it now will get it later when it arrives. More information on upcoming game modes will be announced later.
Tetris 99 is available for the Nintendo Switch.
