Tetris Party totally uses the Balance Board

An interview we did with Hudson back in May planted the idea Tetris Party may use the Balance Board as an alternate controller. The US announcement of the game confirms it, but the sole screenshot doesn’t explain how players will move falling bricks with their body. The Balance Board mode isn’t even the strangest mode introduced in the WiiWare Tetris game.

In Field Climber players try to build a staircase and in Shadow mode (pictured) the blocks are used to fill in a picture. Now I’m really curious about the 18 game modes in Tetris Party, which is scheduled to come out in North America this fall. Don't worry Tetris purists. Tetris Party has classic Tetris with online battles for six.
