Thatgamecompany’s Sky: Children of Light Celebrates Its First Birthday

Thatgamecompany’s Sky: Children of Light is celebrating a hallmark occasion. The game is about to turn a year old. It launched back on Apple iOS devices back on July 18, 2019, and now the company is celebrating with hats, access to The Office, and insight into the game’s development from July 13-19, 2020.

Hats one of multiple sorts of Sky: Children of Light cosmetics, with ones like the Hungry Pumpkin and Santa Hat given away at holidays. During the event, people will be able to trade three hearts for a One Year Anniversary Hat. The party hat will only be available during this event.

As for The Office, everyone can now head to the Vault of Knowledge to visit this alternate space. Just like the Halloween 2019 event, which opened up the area to everyone, there are special decorations and NPCs there. Normally, only people wearing the Beta or Founder’s Cape can get inside and mess around. (The Founder’s Pack is $29.99.)

Finally, the official Twitter account will be sharing concept art and talking about Sky: Children of Light’s development. This will last for seven days and started with a look at Isle of Dawn, the first place you can visit.

Sky: Children of the Light is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. It will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later in 2020.
