That’s Artwork From Hero, A Canned Midway Game

Before Midway collapsed they had a number of in-development games like This is Vegas and a lesser known title simply called Hero.

Concept art from Hero shows a person armed with a sword in the center of a ruined city. The impressive artwork comes from Stephan Martiniere who worked as a the creative visual director at Midway’s Chicago office for a number of years.

Martiniere also drafted art for Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe including environments for the Special Forces base, Fortress of Solitude, and the Bat Cave.
