Level 5 posted a couple of new quests for White Knight Chronicles‘ online component. A nice gesture since the downloadable content and online play are free. Today, the game got a major upgrade.
White Knight Chronicles: 1st Wave adds single player features like a New Game+ mode where you can replay White Knight Chronicles with most of your old equipment (story items have to be found again) and supercharged avatar. Carryover mode also adds some new treasure chests to find, but Level 5 didn’t detail if these will have special items.
Online players get a souped up adventure’s journal which stores photos, room match, and an item synthesizing frog. Level 5 also created a more user friendly menu and rebalanced attacks/skills/spells.
Isn’t Level 5 working on a dozen announced games too? 1st Wave is a hefty update. Perhaps, Level 5 has been made these post launch White Knight Chronicles improvements for the upcoming US version and are giving them a go in Japan first.
