While it’s been a very long time since the last new Mega Man game was released, fans of the Blue Bomber at least have lots of cool merch to consider. If you like putting together model kits, Kotobukiya has a bunch of great choices based on various iterations of Mega Man. Let’s have a look at some of the best Kotobukiya model kits you can pick up in 2025.
Mega Man Premium Charge Shot ver.

This is a premium version of the Mega Man 11 version of Mega Man. It features a special plating and has a red Charge Shot instead of blue. You get four different faces to choose from, four hand parts, and a helmetless head part. It also includes the Charge Shot parts and a Mega Buster that can be equipped to either arm.
Mega Man X X Premium Charge Shot ver.

Perhaps you’re looking for a Mega Man X model instead? Here’s X in his premium form, with shiny plating and new colors for the Charge Shot parts. It includes three different face parts, three different hand parts, and some Charge Shot parts you can use for various poses. You can equip the X Buster to X’s left or right arm as needed.
Mega Man X Max Armor Hyper Chip Version

Mega Man X3 might not be the most popular game in the series, but it does have some cool armor designs. The Max Armor look for X is sharp enough on its own, but this Hyper Chip version gives him an extra golden sheen. You get different face and hand parts, Cross Charge Shot parts, an X Buster that can be equipped to either arm, and a Z Saber.
Max Armor Triad Thunder ver.

Here’s another take on the Mega Man X3 Max Armor, this time done up in the Triad Thunder colors. It includes face parts, hand parts, interchangeable parts for the Triad Thunder look, the X Buster, and the rather large Triad Thunder Effect parts. Hey, if you’re going to go for a weapon-based variant, you might as well go big.
Black Zero

The other main character of the Mega Man X series, Zero, also has some cool model kits available. This one captures his special Black Zero look. It includes three face parts, four hand parts, a Z Saber that lights up (Milight 316 battery not included), a Zero Buster, and some Z Saber Effect parts.
Mega Man X Zero Nightmare ver.

Another instance of finding the silver lining in a cloud, the Zero Nightmare variant of Zero from Mega Man X6 is a cool villainous look for the character. It includes three face parts, a Zero Buster, a light-up Z Saber (again, battery not included), some Z Saber Effect parts, and a unique hair part sculpt that differs from the normal Zero model kit.
Axl White ver.

Oh right, Axl. That third protagonist from Mega Man X that didn’t quite catch on. If you want Axl in his finest white duds, here’s a model kit for you. Four face parts, interchangeable hand parts, two Axl Bullets, two Ray Guns, a Blast Launcher with a telescopic feature, and interchangeable wings allow you to recreate all your favorite Axl poses from Mega Man X8.
Mega Man.EXE Premium Charge Shot ver.

If your Mega Man of choice is the one from the Game Boy Advance Mega Man Battle Network RPGs, this model kit might interest you. It’s shiny version of Mega Man.EXE, complete with a distinct color for the Life Sword parts. You get four face parts, interchangeable hand parts, a Mega Buster, a Cannon, a Sword, and two Sword Effect parts.
Bass.EXE

Mega Man’s frenemy Bass also has a Battle Network counterpart, and his model kit is a very cool one. You get three face parts, three hand parts, two Busters, a Shoulder Cloak suitable for brooding, and a Dark Arm Blade Effect part. It also includes a connection joint for the Flying Base, if you happen to own that. Bass.EXE looks way cooler when he’s floating, after all.
Roll.EXE

Let’s round out the list with the cutest model of the bunch. Compared to other variants of Roll, Roll.EXE was a lot more hands-on with her assistance in Mega Man’s adventures. This model kit includes four face parts, four interchangeable hand parts, the Roll Arrow weapon, and a clip-type stand. She looks great alone or with any of the other Battle Network model kits alongside her.
