Following an initial Fall 2018 release estimate, the official Black Desert Online Xbox One launch date has been pinned down. On March 4, 2019, people worldwide will be able to head to their systems and play the MMORPG. Pre-orders are now open for the standard, deluxe, and ultimate editions, and the official Microsoft page confirms that it will have 4K Ultra HD and HDR support. Pre-downloads details are also being finalized, for people who might want to purchase and pre-load the game.

The three different Black Desert Online Xbox One tiers give people certain bonuses and, in some cases, early access to the game ahead of launch. The most basic is the $29.99 Standard Edition, which gives people 24-hour early access to the game on March 3, 2019. It also provides people with permanent access to the MMORPG, a 30-day Value Pack, a Pearl Box that contains 500 pearls, an exclusive in-game title, and an exclusive Shepherd pet. The $49.99 Deluxe Edition is slightly more comprehensive, as it gives people 48-hour early access to the game, a 60-day Value Pack, 1,000 pearls in the Pearl Box, a Tier 3 horse, and a Trina Horse Gear set in addition to the title and Shepherd pet.

The Ultimate Edition of Black Desert Online for the Xbox One is the most robust. It is $99.99. In addition to the permanent access you expect, the Shepherd Pet, in-game title, and Trina Horse Gear, a number of other bonuses are thrown in. People have 72 hours of early access to the MMO, a 90-day Value Pack, 3,000 pearls, a white Tier 5 Horse, a Trina Knight Wagon Set, a Shudad Classic outfit, a Tier 2 Young Fogan pet, 30 EXP scrolls (10 of each type), a permanent Horse Flute, and a Maid.

However, it is important to make sure you choose the right region when you play. While you will be able to swap regions to access certain servers, Pearl Abyss noted that all of the bonuses that came with the edition of the game you purchased will be region-locked. So make sure the region you will be playing on is set in your Xbox One settings ahead of time, to be certain your character and items will be in the server where you wish to play.

Black Desert Online is immediately available for the PC for $9.99.
