Namco Bandai is dropping the price of the Idolm@ster down to 2,940 yen ($25) since it’s joining the wallet-friendly Platinum collection in Japan. While the game drops below half price the additional online content will keep the same price tag. Namco Bandai has to make money on the Xbox 360 version somehow. Since it’s not getting an international release microtransactions have to rake in the dough.
