“Bionic Commando In Fish World” Cult Game Series Has A New 3DS Game

Umihara Kawase is a video game series in Japan where you play as a girl with a pink backpack and a grappling hook. Yumi, as she was supposed to be called in the canceled US release, swings on walls and has to avoid out of place sea creatures. What made Umihara Kawase is the physics engine and the grappling hook’s elastic rope.

While we never got Yumi’s Odd Odyssey, the Umihara Kawase series will continue with Farewell Umihara Kawase. Yumi is 20 years old in this game and the title has some of the original developers working on it.
