Back on May 27, 2019, a new Death Stranding video was teased. We were told if we tuned in on May 29, 2019, we could “create the rope.” Then, on May 28, 2019, Kojima Projections asked people to “help us reconnect.” The official PlayStation Twitch account has been streaming Death Stranding footage ever since, and now enough hands are beginning to appear to show glimpses of what is behind the blackness.
It appears that the new Death Stranding footage is playing on a constant loop. It seems as though it could be showing a mixture of cutscenes and actual gameplay of Sam as he traverses an area with some sort of delivery. One scene does feature the familiar baby. It seems like at one point, we are actually watching things through the baby’s eyes.
There were about 16 handprints when there were over 46,000 viewers watching the stream at 8:30am CT on May 29, 2019. You can see the looping footage below.
Death Stranding is in development for the PlayStation 4. As a reminder, its preorder bonuses leaked out on the PlayStation Store earlier today.
