The Eye of Judgment Legends Strategically Positioned For March Release

Sony unveiled The Eye of Judgment Portable (aka The Eye of Judgment Legends) at Gamescom. After that it fell off the radar. Now, we know their card battling game is moving right along and will be ready by March 2010. That’s when the game launches in Japan.

Unlike its PlayStation 3 predecessor, The Eye of Judgment Legends does not have nifty camera technology to talk about. Instead Sony equipped it with a new story mode and all of the cards from the PS3 game plus thirty new cards made for The Eye of Judgment Legends. Players will be able to challenge others on the Internet via infrastructure mode (true online play) and trade cards with an ad-hoc connection.

Not convinced? Sony Computer Entertainment Japan plans to release a demo with deck building and ad-hoc play in the middle of January.
