D6r5OxOWsAERR27   After being accidentally teased in Fortnite, the Epic Games Store Mega Sale has begun. This is the distributor’s first sale. Until June 13, 2019, some games are on sale for up to 75% off and a new game will be offered for free each week. (Stories Untold will be the next free game.) In addition, Epic Games is taking $10 off of the price of every game in the store that is over $14.99. In fact, that discount will be applied retroactively to recently purchased games.   Epic Games explained the terms on the Mega Sale store page. If someone bought a game between May 2-15, 2019 that would have qualified for the $10 discount, they will still get the discount. (This applies to purchases of released games and preorders.) Also, that $10 is not being taken away from the developer or publisher. Epic is applying the discount. However, that $10 discount does not apply to DLC, season passes, or in-game currency. So, as an example, a game like Borderlands 3 would be $49.99 right now, rather than $59.99, due to the discount.   The Epic Games Store Mega Sale is in effect until June 13, 2019. Right now, World of Goo is still free today and Stories Untold will be free from May 16-30, 2019.
