A release date has been set for a new If My Heart Had Wings: Flight Diary add-on. The game’s official Steam page revealed that people will be able to grab New Wings: Akari on April 22, 2019. This is an entirely new side-story following a familiar character.

In the original If My Heart Had Wings, Akari Kumoi is a member of the supporting cast. She starts out as the Student Council’s vice president. Initially, she wants the Soaring Club disbanded, because the club is on its last legs and is taking up resources other, more active clubs could use. Her perspective changes as the story goes on. Her route takes place about a year after Aoi Minase and the others revived it and gives people a chance to get to know her better.

Previously, the only way to see Akari’s storyline would have been to import. Her route only appeared in If My Heart Had Wings: Cruise Sign, which appeared on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in Japan.

If My Heart Had Wings and If My Heart Had Wings: Flight Diary are immediately available on PCs.
