The King of Fighters ’98: Ultimate Match is ready to whet appetites before The King of Fighters XII comes out next month. The Xbox Live Arcade version is pretty much like the retail PlayStation 2 game Ignition published earlier this year. The differences?
On Xbox Live Arcade players get online matches, leaderboards, and Kyo/Iori border. The King of Fighters ’98: Ultimate Match costs 800 Microsoft Points ($10), which is the same price as Worms 2: Armageddon. Both games come out on Wednesday.
Expect The King of Fighters 2002: Ultimate Match, which also came out as a PlayStation 2 game, to pop up on Xbox Live Arcade next year.
