Earlier this week, developer Inside System released the free smartphone game The Legend of Dark Witch Connect! on the App Store in Japan. The game was revealed back in late December 2019 and is a spinoff that is free with no microtransactions.
The Legend of Dark Witch Connect! is a puzzler that has players try to chain together character icons, with high combos activating special attacks. There is also a collectible element to the game, where you can collect the various bosses and characters who have appeared across the series.
Currently, The Legend of Dark Witch Connect! only supports Japanese, but it was announced during a livestream that English support might be added later on if the game does well. That said, considering the genre of the game, you likely won’t need to know much Japanese to play the game. [Thanks, Crippe on Twitter!]

The dungeon-crawling RPG sequel to Brave Dungeon features Al, Papelne, and Klinsy as the three protagonists, each with their own party members. The game was originally slated for 2019 before being pushed back to this year.
Finally, a new anime short for the series has been released, which you can find below:
The Legend of Dark Witch Connect! is available on Apple iOS devices and will be released soon on Android. Brave Dungeon: The Meaning of Justice will be released in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch.
