Aeria Games, the company that licensed Sorcerian and created an iPhone remake, also picked up the mobile phone rights to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky series. They plan to bring the games to smartphones (likely iPhone and Android) in the future. This version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky games will make use of smartphone feature with social and online elements.
While the news was announced in Japan, Aeria Games said they will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky series in English too for North America.
It’s unclear if Xseed, the company that localized and published Trails in the Sky, is involved or not. The PSP title is the first in a series of games including Trails in the Sky Second Chapter, Trails in the Sky Third Chapter, Trails of Zero, and most recently Trails of Blue.
