The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Super Smash Bros Ultimate Spirits Are Now Permanently Available

Back in June 2019, a The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Spirit Board event appeared in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As is common with such things, it brought with it two exclusive Spirits people could only get during the event. One was Link and the other was Kaepora Gaebora. Now, the official Japanese Twitter account has confirmed that both can be acquired at any time.

Both of these Link’s Awakening Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirits could have their uses. Link is a primary, colorless, three-star spirit Spirit that gives people water weakness in exchange for higher stats. (Which makes sense, given he washed up on Koholint Island after a storm.) This version of the Kaepora Gaebora Owl is a two-star support Spirit with a cost of two that provides screen-flip immunity.
