imageSpike is giving the mystery genre a jolt in Japan with Danganronpa.

Danganronpa: The Campus’ Wish and Hopeless High School Senior has high speed talking battles. Famitsu mentions shooter elements (!?) and machine gun-like logic fights where you have to spot inconsistencies in logic. Danganronpa has 2.5D motion graphics.

 

This upcoming PSP game is quite different from Spike’s usual works. They’re known in Japan for the Kenka Bancho and Fire Pro Wrestling games plus publishing Western titles like Tomb Raider and Bioshock.
