Sega is once again selling a Luminasta figure of Frieren being eaten by a Mimic, but this new variant is a Plus option that gives the monster that looks like a treasure chest a tongue. It is now available as a prize figure in Japan. The US listing isn’t live on the company’s Amazon storefront yet, but the original one is still there for $49.99. The higher price is due to the fact that this is a pair of figures, rather than a single one. Since the Luminasta Plus version has extra parts, it will likely be more expensive when sold worldwide.
This pair is almost identical to the previous September 2025 version. Frieren is still on her hands and knees with an exasperated and upset expression on her face. The Mimic still features a hinge that allows for it to be posed with the mouth wide open or almost closed. If you put the two together, it looks like the monster is trying to eat her after she looked inside hoping it was a normal treasure chest. The difference is that there is now a tongue part that can be placed inside the Mimic’s mouth when it is displayed alone to make it look even more like the creature from the anime and manga series.
Here is how the new Frieren and Mimic Luminasta Plus figure set will look:

We often see merchandise regarding the Mimic running joke in the series. One of the earlier items Sega released was a pillow that resembled the monster. There was also a pair of plush toys that appeared in 2025 that featured the creature trying to eat Frieren while Fern watched worried nearby.
The Frieren and Mimic Luminasta Plus figure is available in Japan now and will eventually show up worldwide. Crunchyroll is the streaming home of the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime adaptation, and Viz Media handles the manga.
