The Missing Physical Release Announced for PS4 and Switch

The Missing

Hidetaka “Swery65” Suehiro’s action adventure puzzle game The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories will be getting a limited retail release courtesy of Limited Run Games.

The Missing standard edition

This limited physical version will be available to pre-order for a two week run. It’ll come in standard and Collector’s Editions for both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. The Collector’s Edition will set you back $79.99, but will include a physical copy of the game, a sticker sheet, Sleepy Donuts stress ball, Sleepy Donuts 3D magnets, and even an F.K. plush toy.

The Missing collector's edition

Pre-orders will open on Friday, January 31 from the Limited Run Games website in two batches at 10 am and 6 pm ET (that’s at 7am and 3 pm PT).

Originally an Arc System Works digital-only release back in October 2018, it is the first game by Suehiro’s White Owls studio. The Missing sees you play as J.J., who must venture forth onto Memoria Island in order to find her best friend that went missing on a camping trip. Check out the first look at The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories and at the key characters for the game.

The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A demo version is also available.
