Starfish used to make games with the Wizardry license, but after they lost that they made their own first person dungeon crawler series called Elminage. UFO Interactive brought the first game over for PSP.

Elminage Gothic 3D Remix is a spinoff of Elminage (actually, it’s a port of a spinoff) with a gothic theme and darker art style. You can lighten the mood by using the 3DS’ camera to take photos for character portraits. That’s how the Shiba Inu and lady with the pointer finger got in the game. Give yourself a pat on the back if you noticed the cameos from Twilight Tokyo Busters and Tsurippa, two other titles from Starfish.

The 3DS version also has new races like the creepy Homunculus and half-demon Devilish characters. Elminage Gothic 3D Remix was supposed to come out earlier this month, but Starfish delayed it and its release date is TBD.
