The Mysterious And Secretive Studio Zan

This article is over 16 years old and may contain outdated information

After I heard about the balance board controlled Overturn, Studio Zan got my attention. They’re pretty secretive about what games they are working on. This is natural, but Studio Zan also conceals details about past works by listing games with generic terms like “puzzle game” and “action race game”. In 2007 Studio Zan was more open, revealing they were the team behind the PSP version of Dungeon Explorer, but this year they went back into the shadows.

Studio Zan is either developing or developed two games for the Wii. One is a “rhythm type game” and the other is a “survival simulation game”. The “survival simulation game” could be Lost in Blue: Shipwrecked since Studio Zan has a relationship with Konami and Konami Computer Entertainment Japan describes the genre as “survival simulation.” The “rhythm type game” is more ambiguous. One thought I had is it might be the World of Golden Eggs game, but it can also be something brand new too. Is there going to be a WiiWare rhythm game in our future?
