The New Battletoads Will Arrive on August 20, 2020

Dlala Studios and Rare’s Battletoads Xbox One and PC game has a release date. Even better, it is coming soon. People will be able to pick it up starting on August 20, 2020.

Battletoads is an action game that can be played alone or with up to three friends. (If three people are around, then Rash, Pimple, and Zitz will all be playable.) There will be drop-in and drop-out local co-op, though the Steam version will support Remote Play Together.

Here’s the release date trailer for Battletoads. It sets up the story, which has the Toads facing a new enemy, then offers example of what it will be like going through the beat’em up. It even shows what the Turbo Tunnel-like segments will be like and how they use a new viewpoint when you’re seeing the action from behind.

The Battletoads Xbox One and PC game was announced back at E3 2018, and it will arrive on August 20, 2020. It will be available via the Microsoft Store and Steam. The game will also be available in the Xbox Game Pass library after it launches.
